Forge Wrestling finishes 3rd

The Colonial Forge wrestling team placed third at the Virginia AAA State Championships last weekend.  The team was lead by state runners-up Scott Reilly and David Reck.  Also earning all-state honors by placing in the top eight were Bryce Gentry, Mickey Hayes, and Sean Murphy who all placed 4th and Mark Garrity who was 5th.  Just missing a spot on the podium were Connor Mairena and Zach Martinez.    Open Mat will be held on Monday and Wednesday nights from 5:30-7:30 starting on March 7th. Strength and Conditioning workouts will begin on March 15th and will be held on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday after school and will run to 4:00.   VAWA State Championships this weekend The elementary and middle school divisions will be held on Saturday and the high school divisions will be held on Sunday.  For more information go to http://www.virginiawrestling.com/
