Forge Wrestling Wins 10th Title

The Colonial Forge wrestling team won their 10th straight Northwest Region team championship on Saturday at Franklin County High School.  All 13 Forge entries scored team points to help outdistance runner-up Forest Park.  Leading the way were individual champions: Michael Hayes, Sean Murphy, Scott Reilly and David Reck.  Earning silver medals were Connor Mairena and Mark Garrity and adding 3rd place medals were Bryce Gentry and Zach Martinez.  Curtis Harris and Quinton Winters finished 5ht and Zack Nolan 6th rounding out the place winners for CFHS. The team will compete at the AAA State Championships this Friday and Saturday at James Robinson Secondary school in Fairfax.
