Forge Update 12/13

Varsity Wins Championship The varsity wrestling team captured the team title at the Ziegler Chevrolet Invitational held at Claysburg-Kimmel High School in Pennsylvania.  Earning individual tournament championships for the Eagles were: Bryce Gentry, Michael Hayes, Scott Reilly, Zack Nolan, David Reck and Quinton Winters.  Mark Garrity finished 2nd while Connor Mairena, Tony Neis, Sean Murphy and Zach Martinez placed 3rd.  Rounding out the scoring for Forge were Mattheos Lozier in 4th place with Tristen Frias and Patrick Ober 5th. On Wednesday the Eagles opened their dual meet schedule with a 72-7 victory over Mountain View. Blue Team competes at Cosby The Blue Team competed at their second varsity tournament of the season at the Titan Invitation held at Cosby High School. Highlights from the tournament were the three individual 3rd place finishes by Dylan Hunziker, Curtis Harris and James Kinsey.  Seth Brodie placed 4th while Bo Jackson, Michael Taylor and Terrence Bell finished in 6th place. This week... ...the Varsity team will travel to the University of Delaware for the nations toughest high school wrestling tournament the Beast of the East... ...the Blue team will be traveling to Culpeper County High School for a varsity dual tournament on Saturday... ...and the JV team will be going to Mountain View on Wednesday for a Jamboree start time 6:00PM
