Forge Wrestling Update 1-18

Battlefield Duals The team went 5-2 on the weekend and finished 4th (losing a 3 way tie for 2nd) at the Marines.com Battlefield Duals.  Earning victories over Robinson, Kellam, Huntington WV, River Hill MD, and Upper Perkiomen PA and dropping close matches to Spalding MD and Connellsville PA. Escape the Rock The team traveled to Council Rock South for a 32 team individual tournament and finished in 8th place.  David Reck captured the belt winning the 189 pound championship.  Mark Garrity finished 4th, Scott Reilly 5th and Michael Hayes came in 6th. Charger Duals The Blue team went 4-0 in varsity competition at the Chantilly's Charger Duals beating Fairfax, McLean, Potomac and South Lakes. This week the varsity team will wrestle at the District Duals on Wednesday at Stafford H.S. and this Saturday we will host the Marine Corps Ultimate Challenge http://www.usmcultimatechallenge.com/ The Blue Team will host Washington and Lee on Thursday night and the JV's will travel to King George.
